We are a recreational camp, that provides exciting games, sports, and craft experiences for our different age groups. The children will have opportunities to engage with other campers, as well as be instructed by leaders and Leaders In Training.
What to expect at camp:
In the month of June you will receive an email with camp procedures, what to expect, further information on the weekly themes, and what to bring to camp information.
Frequent handwashing practices are still in place to keep the campers, and staff safe.
Campers will have opportunities for outside play and inside play.
Camp activities will take place on the sports fields, upstairs at the Athletic center, and will have some use of the turf area of the Athletic center!
Staff Certifications and Qualifications:
All of our employees are certified in Standard First Aid and CPR C and have a clear criminal and vulnerable sector check. In addition, all camp employees have been trained in protocols, policies and standards related to COVID-19 based on provincial legislation.
Our camp employees are selected based on thier unique skills, enthusiasm, previous work and volunteer experience and their ability to work with children. They also participate in a mandatory, pre-camp training program covering topics such as leadership, motivation, teamwork, parent feedback, policies and procedures, as well as specifics about camp programs and management expectations.
